WWII Luxenberg Colonel Collar Rank Sterling

This is museum quality reproduction in sterling silver of very rare WWII Colonel Insignia made by Luxenberg. One of the most desirable insignia makers. These are called War Eagles because the head of the eagle is facing the arrows. In official Colonel insignia the head of the eagle faces the olive branch. You are bidding on a set of two in the large collar size. These are 1 1/2 inch wing span.Luxenberg oversize collar insinia, Colonel rank. No idea why by the uniform was 1/2 inch larger than regulations and the collar almost double size.
