1930's Coast Guard Pilot Wings Sterling w Gold by Weingarten Gallery
Item Number: P-1226This is a museum quality reproduction of a very rare French wing from the World War One. The original dates from 1916 making it one of the first wings used with the 1913 US Military Aviator being the first. This reproduction is hallmarked .925. This wing is a little different than most French wings, in that the center looks a lot like the US Pilot collar insignia and in fact has a wing span of 1 3/4 inches as did some of the US insignia.
