Item Number: P-1587This is a museum quality reproduction of a very rare French Pilot badge wing from the World War One. This squadron was first established on 1 January 1918 as N99 and became SPA 99 in April 1918.The squadron was disbanded on 11 April 1919. A picture of this badge / wing can be found in French Military Aeronautical Branch Badges up to 1918 By Philippe Bartlett on page 146 and on page 335. This reproduction is made in sterling silver and used a different type of clasp than found on most of the WWI badges. The pin is about 1 1/2 inches wide.
