Dru Blair Aviation Art

Dru Blais is an aviation airbrush artist whose realistic paintings dramatically portray subjects that salute man's greatest technological triumphs. His realistic aircraft paintings are often mistaken for airplane photos. While Dru's helicopter and airplane paintings focus primarily on high technology aviation and military aircraft, he has also been selected to portray many Star Trek novel covers, as well as such diverse subjects as the well known Budweiser Bullfrogs, and numerous magazine covers.

Some of Dru's more popular subjects are the B1-B Lancer, B-52 Stratofortress, B-2 Stealth Bomber, AH-64 Apache, AH-64D Longbow, F-117 Stealth Fighter, AH-1 Cobra, F-14 Tomcat, F-16 Falcon, F-15 Strike Eagle, UH-60 Blackhawk, SR-71 Blackbird, C-17 Globemaster, C-130 Hercules, C-141 Starlifter, KC-135 Stratotanker, OH-58 Kiowa Warrior, P-51 Mustang, Pearl Harbor, USS Enterprise, USS Voyager and Deep Space Nine. Some of his airplane pictures and Star Trek art are available for download. Subjects featured by other artists include F-22 Raptor, C-5 Galaxy and a B-17 Memphis Belle painting.
